The Office of the Ombudsman of Consumer Affairs for
Minorities has been created within the Consumer
Affairs Division of the Department of Business &
Industry.
The Ombudsman shall:
-
Provide for
continued educational, outreach and service
programs for minority groups pertaining to
consumer fraud; and
-
Assist the Nevada Commission on Minority Affairs
created by
NRS. 233J.020.

About the Current
Ombudsman for Consumer Affairs for Minorities
The current Ombudsman
for Consumer Affairs for Minorities is
Leticia Bravo.
Leticia brings a range
of experience to the role of Ombudsman for Consumer
Affairs for Minorities, including three years as
Public Information Officer and Latino Liaison for
the Cook County Clerk’s Office in Chicago, Illinois.
Every other week,
Leticia participates in a Spanish-language radio
show on KRLV 1340-AM, a radio station focused on
international and multicultural programming. “Lo de
Aqui, Lo de Alla” is a call-in show during which
Leticia responds to a variety of consumer affairs
questions. The show takes place every Wednesday at 3
p.m. PST.
